What is the Off-Island Travel Service?
If you have been referred to a UK Hospital for treatment you most likely have a lot of questions.
Here at Health Connections we operate alongside Health and Social Care to offer support and information to help make your time off-island easier. We can supply you with a pack containing detailed information about the Hospital, accommodation and transport as well as lots of useful information about the area surrounding the hospital.

Who can use the service?
Our Off Island Travel Support is available for:
– Patients travelling Off-Island for Hospital Based Treatment.
– Family or Friends Supporting a Patient.
– Where Relevant a Person Providing Escort for the Patient.

How to access our support
Health Care professionals can refer people to our off island support team and we also welcome self-referrals.
