Donations

We welcome donations of good quality clothing, homewares and furniture in all styles. These can be dropped off at Reloved Living, Market Square or contact Agi, our Shop Operations Manager.

Our Pricing Policy

We are very fortunate, and immensely grateful, to have a great many higher value pieces of clothing, homewares and furniture donated to us.

Whilst we understand that there is an expectation about prices in charity shops, we try to price fairly and appropriately for each item.

The prices we give vintage, retro, antique and designer pieces are thoroughly researched and reflect the high standard of materials and workmanship as well as the original value of the items.

We wholeheartedly believe that pricing to take into account an item’s real value helps the customer better understand the quality, design process and craftsmanship that goes into manufacture, and perhaps appreciate their purchases in a different way to make them last longer.

We are also determined to be part of a culture shift trying to encourage people to buy less but of better, longer lasting quality, in line with a more sustainable way of shopping.

Please feel free to discuss this with our staff at any time.

Our Refund Policy

Please note we are unable to offer refunds on clothing or homewares but a credit note may be issued at the discretion of the staff member on duty.

Credit notes and refunds are not offered on items of furniture.

Whilst we endeavour to price goods fairly and according to their perceived age and condition, Health Connections LBG cannot provide guarantees. Therefore, all furniture purchased in the shops must be seen by the customer and all sales are final.

Both shops also host work by a number of local Makers and Artists. For most of these, their creativity is not necessarily their primary source of income but more a means of expressing themselves and sharing this with the community. All of this aligns with our mission of giving opportunities for connecting to a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life.

What you can’t find in one shop, you are likely to find in the other, so make sure you visit both regularly to see all the great new stock coming in!

All funds raised in the shops are dedicated to developing and delivering Health Connections’ core services in the community;

connecting people to the support that matters to them through our innovative online Directory; the Voluntary Transport Service; Off-Island Support Service; one to one signposting service; training Community Connectors and our Talking Cafés project.
Helping people make these connections is at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver our mission of enabling everyone to live happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives.
