Talking Café
Talking Cafés enable people in the community to enjoy a social activity and provide an opportunity to be connected to support and information which people to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.
What is a Talking Café?
A Talking Café brings people together for a chat and a cuppa. You can pop in for a quick chat or stay for an interesting conversation with friendly people. Even a short conversation with another person can really brighten your day. You can also chat to a Community Connector about other activities, support groups and services in your community. There is no need to register, just turn up on the day. There is no obligation to buy anything more than a cuppa in the café.
Come along to a Talking Café
Joining in is simple. Choose a venue you would like to attend and just turn up on the right time and day. You can come along on your own, bring a friend or your partner. If you’re a carer bring the person you care for (or come on your own for a break). Grandparents and parents with babies, young people, older people and anyone in between are welcome! If you have any questions, please visit our website or e-mail us directly.
