Olivia Chesney specialises in private Yoga classes – either in-person in Guernsey, or else online via Zoom.
Olivia also runs regular chair yoga classes at St. Martin’s Community Centre. Any age welcome. The class is suitable for over 65s to 90+. These classes take place on Tuesdays from 11am – 12pm.
The private yoga classes are 1:1; instructor-client sessions and these take place either in the comfort of your own home, at a venue of your choice, or online.

As a certified and insured Yoga teacher, and someone who has practiced Yoga themselves for around 12 years, I can tailor the classes to suit your goals. I offer the following types of Yoga: Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga; Mat Yoga; Chair Yoga; Over 65s Yoga; Children’s Yoga. I teach Yoga to a range of ages and abilities- from children to adults over 90 years of age!
The classes aim to bring health, balance, peace and strength to the body and mind.
There are a myriad of benefits to practicing Yoga; from releasing pain and tension in the body to increasing flexibility and strength.
Having explored different forms of exercise, various spiritual paths, and having studied the anatomy and science behind Yoga, I believe that Yoga is one of the best practices anyone can do. Yoga is arguably the ultimate mind-body workout; the mindfulness, breathing techniques and meditation involved in the practice, means that Yoga works on the physical body in a sustainable and careful way, making it one of the best forms of exercise you can do over the long term.
Beginners welcome. Over 65s encouraged but any age welcome!
