Hi, I am Lynne Roscrow, a Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapist based in Alderney and specialising in scars, oncology massage and soft tissue injury also known as remedial massage.

My passion is to help people find ease of movement and reconnect with their body after trauma.

I work with people and their scars, helping the body let go of tension and trauma after surgery, injury, illness or accident. In addition I am fully qualified to work with people at all stages of their cancer journey, through diagnosis, treatment, surgery and life beyond.

I focus on working in partnership with my client as a whole person, rather than a medical diagnosis.

In addition to the hands on massage that I offer, I also teach qigong group classes and individuals. Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using movement and breathwork to optimise energy within the body, mind and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.

I am a full member of the SMA (Association of Soft Tissue Therapists) and am on the CNHC register (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). I have also completed the MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) training and a Trauma Awareness training to enable me to provide a really safe space for you. Even if you choose not to share some more in depth personal thoughts and feelings, know that you are never judged and there is no obligation to share. I am not a qualified counsellor, but I do listen and I will help point you in the direction of a qualified professional if needed.
