Martels is an independent, family run funeral business, and is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors. We are proud of the personal service and facilities we can offer to the bereaved and their families at times of grief and distress. 

In the society in which we live in today many changes have occurred and we are able to offer a range of tailored funeral services to reflect individual beliefs – whether these are traditional, religious, secular or humanist. We can also provide our Chapel for bespoke and more intimate funeral services.

Our funeral directors are able to meet families at their homes or in our private family room which, along with our office, is furnished more like one’s home than an office, providing a more homely atmosphere in which to make funeral arrangements or to sit quietly before viewing a loved one in our private Chapel of Rest. We promise to listen and guide the bereaved with respect and compassion at such a difficult time.

Our funeral services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
