Headway Guernsey
Headway Guernsey supports islanders and their families who are living with a brain injury. We provide a wide range of services that bring people together in a supportive and positive environment. All funds raised stay in the Bailiwick and help local people.
Through regular sessions at Headway House, brain injured islanders can rebuild their confidence, learn new skills, relearn lost skills and support each other.
We run cognitive, physical and social programmes from our base at KGV in Castel, working closely with the brain injury team at PEH and their support services.
Headway also runs a helpline offering information and advice and provides the opportunity to talk to others who have been through similar experiences.
There is a regular programme of social events and information evenings and an active family support programme.
