Home Assist Limited (HALo) is Guernsey’s new in-home support provider.
HALo can provide support packages from 4 hours to 20 hours per week.
Our services include cleaning, personal care, companionship visits, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, appointments, maintenance, gardening and social trips.

At HALo, we believe that everyone deserves to live their life with purpose and dignity. That’s why, after conducting a thorough assessment, we work closely with you to create a personalised service package that meets your unique needs and helps you maintain the independence and comfort of the home you love.
We want to meet you at home, preferably with your loved ones where we will conduct a three-part assessment.
Home Safety Assessment
We want to ensure that your home provides you, our employees, and our home assistants with a safe and secure environment.
Needs Assessment
We will determine the areas where you or your loved ones require assistance, whether that be your common activities of daily living such as dressing, cooking, and moving from a chair or bed. We can then assess if these activities need support or can be performed independently.
Enhancements
Our team will also work with you to determine the areas of your property that require attention, whether it’s your garden or other aspects of your home. The enhancements assessment will generally identify some recurring work required in the home, making your life easier. Fitting grab handles, mobility ramps, stair lifts, other mobility aids, or repurposing rooms as necessary to create a safe and secure home environment for you.
Care and nursing homes are wonderful establishments operated by equally wonderful people but most of us simply don’t want to be there, yet anyway. HALo is the answer to keeping you in the home of your choice.
