Freedom Counselling is lead by Hayley Allaway who offers a caring, friendly and confidential space for you to share and work through the things that have brought you to counselling. Their aim as a counsellor, is to support and empower you on your journey to freedom.

People can often feel like a bird trapped in a cage, longing to be free. Issues like anxiety and depression can leave people feeling trapped and not reaching their full potential. I work with adults, and young people with mental health and self esteem issues, including anxiety, depression, anger, trauma and past or current abuse. I also work with couples using a Relational Model.  By exploring past and current issues and worries, healing and freedom can begin.

What Freedom Counselling Offers

I start with a Person-Centred approach, giving you full autonomy and control of what you want to share in the session. As an integrative counsellor, I often use creative interventions (if you are comfortable with this) and draw on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Counselling, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Interpersonal Therapy and Systemic Relational approaches when working with couples. These tools can be useful in exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I cover issues such as

Anger Management ~ Behavioural Issues ~ Bereavement ~ Bipolar Disorder ~

Domestic Abuse  ~ Domestic Violence ~
Eating Disorders ~ Emotional Disturbance ~
