Ellen Spafford – Art Psychotherapist
About Art Psychotherapy:
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art media as its main mode of expression and communication. Art therapists/art psychotherapists help individuals address emotional problems which may be confusing or distressing.
There is no need to have any form of artistic experience. Art therapy tools can range from talking, metaphors, visualisation and art materials; each session is tailored to individual needs. Art therapy, like any form of therapy is about the therapeutic relationship.
As an HCPC registered art psychotherapist with a wide breadth of experience in a variety of settings, I offer confidential sessions to children or adults.
Initial consultation is complementary.
