Did you know that three quarters of registered suicide deaths in the UK last year were men? Men often feel like they have no-one to talk to or that they have to remain strong and unemotional. We want to change this.

Lead by Alchemy Wellbeing, Digital Detox is a men’s walk-and-talk event that offers a space for men of all ages to get talking without the distraction of the digital world. This is a beginners’ walk, open to men of all walks of life; fathers, sons, grandads. It’s a chance to bond with friends or talk to strangers and get some fresh air and exercise whilst doing so.

The meet begins at Granite Fit Gym at Lowlands Industrial Estate (formerly Bodyworks Gym) at 11am, every Sunday, and the group walk for 1 hour before returning. A free hot drink is included in your walk from Hansens. There is plenty of parking outside the gym.

We ask that your phones, smart watches, headphones or other digital devices are left behind.
