NAS Guernsey
We are a local branch of the National Autistic Society which champions the rights and interests of all people with autism in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
We provide help and support which can make a positive difference to the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Our committee of volunteers are mainly parents of children with autism, and so have a wealth of experience and knowledge which informs all of our branch activities.
Our website includes information about autism and Asperger Syndrome, local services and support in Guernsey, activities and events run by the branch and other useful resources.
We welcome anyone for whom our branch may be a useful and helpful resource.
Our Services
Book Library
We have an extensive library of books, leaflets and DVDs to borrow. The library is always available for loans and returns at our branch meetings and at other times by contacting Catherine Hall on 246025 or by email
To view all books that we currently have in our library please visit: nasguernsey.libib.com
Sensory Toy Library
Our sensory toy library is now located at Western Community Centre.
Library borrowing sessions are on Sunday afternoons – known as ‘Sensory Sundays at Styx‘. Please see the events page for upcoming dates. It is anticipated that we will run a once a fortnight session.
It is free to borrow items from the library, but when you register a £10 per family per year subscription is payable to go towards the maintenance of equipment.
If you are able to volunteer to help run our Sensory Sundays then please do get in touch. We would love to be able to develop a rota of volunteers who are familiar with the equipment.
