Transport Service
Winners of the Pride of Guernsey 2024 Community Hero's Award! Our Voluntary Community Transport Team ensure that all people in our community are connected to support that helps them live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life. Easy access for all people to support that matters to them is essential.

Our Voluntary Community Transport Service provides a safe, reliable and accessible voluntary transport service to people with genuine transport difficulties.
The criteria is strictly that you cannot afford a regular taxi, you are too frail to use public transport and that you do not have family or friends to take you to where you need to go.
We have approximately 35 volunteers across the Island who use their own cars to provide door-to-door transport for health and well-being related appointments and activities.

The volunteer drivers are incredible. They’ve helped me get to my medical appointments safely and on time when I couldn’t have managed on my own. I don’t know what I’d do without Health Connections.
