The Ivy Trust supports parents who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby either during pregnancy or soon after birth. The Trust is dedicated to providing support for parents in four main areas:

• Personal support for parents
• Maintaining the Ivy Room on Loveridge Ward and providing them with equipment to ensure the most vulnerable babies have the best possible chance of survival.
• Options for Remembrance including the creation of the Ivy Remembrance Garden in the hospital grounds
• Providing training opportunities for anyone involved in the care of mothers and their babies

The Ivy Hearts, is a new support group for parents who have experienced baby loss or miscarriage. Ivy Hearts meaning “helping empty arms recover through support” provide adhoc get together and open mornings. It’s about connecting with others who have had similar experiences, there’s no obligation to share.
