How does the program work?

After you have signed up, you’ll be able to download the Quit Genius mobile app so you can get started right away. You will also be able to book an appointment with your personal Quit Coach, who will guide you through your quit plan. Firstly, the coach will call you to find out about your goals so that they can tailor the support to your needs. Then, your Quit Coach will be available to contact in the app chat; keeping you motivated and helping you stay on track.

Once downloaded, the app will provide you with everything you need to quit: information around the best way to quit, techniques to identify and tackle your triggers and a way of tracking your progress once you’ve quit.

After enrolling, we’ll post to you a breath sensor. The breath sensor measures the amount of Carbon Monoxide in your blood (a harmful gas released by cigarettes). These sensors give you objective proof of your improved health after you have stopped smoking. The sensor is simple to use and takes just 30 seconds to register a reading.

How long does the program last?

The Quit Genius programme will help you prepare in the lead up to your quit date and then provide a personalised quit plan which runs for approximately 12 weeks. However, we will continue to support you through our unlimited coaching that will ensure you stay smokefree for good.
