The Practice was formed in 1992 by the amalgamation of the long established Albany and Grange End practices and has been providing ‘Primary Care’ services to the residents and visitors to Guernsey for nearly 30 years. The Practice comprises of 17 Doctors, supported by experienced Nursing and Musculoskeletal Teams and operates from two surgeries, one at Queens Road in St Peter Port and one at Le Longfrie in the parish of St Pierre du Bois. We are a team of over 60 people who endeavour to provide an excellent service and a warm welcome.

Social Prescribing
Queens Road Medical Practice also offer free Social Prescribing services which you can read about on our Directory page or the QRMP page. Social prescribing, sometimes referred to as community referral, is a means of enabling GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals to refer people to a range of local, non-clinical services. This scheme can involve a variety of activities which are typically provided by voluntary and community sector organisations. Examples include volunteering, arts activities, group learning, gardening, befriending, cookery, healthy eating advice and a range of sports. You can find some ideas on the Health Connections directory or contact the link worker – Clare. Clare can offer sessions with patients who have either been referred by their GP or self-referred – all appointments with Clare will be free and can be booked directly by calling the Practice on 01481 724184.
