Everyone with a mental health condition has their own experiences and needs, not one approach fits all.

By encouraging a better understanding of mental health issues within our community we make it easier for people to get the right help, as early as possible.

We believe in an individuals’ resilience and ability to recover if given access to the right support options, these include self-help, talking therapies, medication and a supportive work and family environment.

We offer training and advice about mental health and wellbeing to local employers through the Employee Wellbeing Service.

We run the Lions Mind Centre to encourage the development of self-help groups and enable HSC to provide inclusive services based in the community.

We create positive change by working with the States and the community to support the modernisation of mental health services, provide awareness training to different organisations and run campaigns to encourage people to talk and seek help.

We have information and advice on our website for people need help or know someone who needs help.

We consult with individuals and groups on a regular basis to develop our services to meet the needs of the community.
