We are a specialised recruitment service and can offer you support if you have a mental health concern such as anxiety; a learning disability; a learning difficulty such as dyslexia; are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder; a physical disability; a sensory impairment; a health issue or; any other difficulty that could impact you in finding and maintaining a job.
We are still open for business despite the fact that due to current restrictions our offices are currently closed. The team are working remotely from home, offering support to both clients and employers over telephone, email and face-to-face using platforms such as Whats Ap video and Jitsi.
This is an unprecedented time. Everyone in our community has had to make significant life style changes to adapt to our current restrictions; many people are facing financial uncertainty as their jobs are at risk and our essential workers are experiencing lots of added pressure to serve the community. We’re aware that all of these factors may trigger or exacerbate many health conditions. If you have a disability or health condition and require support during these times then please make contact as we would love to connect with you and offer support where we can.
We are very much an organisation focussed on people, offering individualised employment support face-to-face; so we have had to significantly adapt to continue to provide our service. We usually provide Job Club sessions from our L’Islet offices. Job seekers are supported to; create a competitive CV and covering letter; take part in mock interview practice; improve key skills through online training and; make contact with employers resulting in an employment application. During lockdown we continue to offer this support. We have created a closed Facebook group to share tips, advice, videos, activities and tasks that our job seekers can be working on to improve their employability.
