Family Support Services
Children & Family Community Services early help offer is accessed via the Multi Agency Support Hub. The Integrated Front door brings together the Multi-Agency Support Hub and Family Support Services to provide access to early help in one place. To access MASH and Family Support Services, all referrals are made to the Integrated Front Door where they are screened and directed to the most appropriate level of support.
About Family Support Services
Family Support Services focus is to provide voluntary early help to children and families in need of extra support by providing a range of interventions. These aim to support in making a positive difference to children and their families. Our early help offer is a partnership approach and a Family Community Connector role has been developed in collaboration with Health Connections to ensure we also provide an effective signposting service to access local community resources and services to assist with children and families particular identified needs.
Family Community Connector
The Family Community Connector role has been developed in collaboration with Health Connections. The aim is to connect families to services which provide early help and support as part of our signposting directory initiative. The Family Community Connector can offer families a face to face meeting, or telephone consultation to provide information and advice about accessing local resources.
Referral Process
