Provides support and information to people with Epilepsy and their family members/carers.

Every member of the team at Epilepsy Guernsey has either experienced, or witnessed, the journey to epilepsy diagnosis and treatment first hand. That means we’re in a position to understand how stressful and difficult life can be during this lengthy process. And we want to help.

We offer three types of support to anyone whose life is touched by epilepsy – whether they are epileptic themselves, or care for someone who is. These three types of support are emotional, intellectual, and financial.

We know from our own experience how difficult it can be to navigate the complex healthcare pathways required – and we can help you to do it. We can also provide information about epilepsy more generally and show you what to do in the event of an epileptic seizure.

Financial support is exactly what it says on the tin. Epilepsy diagnosis and treatment comes with a number of costs, from specialist equipment to air travel tickets for specialist medical care.
