The team

The diabetes team is made up of both adult and paediatric diabetologists, specialist nurses, dieticians, nurses and surgeons.

A GP’s referral is needed for access by the diabetologists however referral to the team’s nurses can be made directly by patients. The team can also be accessed through hospital nurses for inpatients, the Emergency Department, or by any MSG consultant.
