Age Concern Guernsey LBG

Age Concern Guernsey LBG provides support and social events for the older person.

We organise Social Day Centres in Guernsey, managed by volunteers.

Each centre meets on one afternoon a week. Members come to socialise and enjoy activities with others. There is an option of games such as dominoes, cards or scrabble that are available along with a chance to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits or cake over a chat. A short Bingo session is also held, and a members raffle.

We have five minibuses at our disposal in Guernsey driven by volunteer drivers, which are available to take members to and from the centres and other events if required. Unfortunately we cannot always guarantee attendance at a particular centre, as this depends on the availability of places.
